Let’s get one thing straight first. That line is bullshit. Being broken up with is what’s hard. Breaking up with someone is easy.
When you first get the inclination that you’re not happy and the relationship is kind of a mess and you think you might like to dump your once significant other, just do it. Eventually they’ll dump you and that always hurts much worse.
